It won't be long until I drown from this torrential downpour of public perception. I will suppress the real me and imprison my true colors in a cage from deep within my heart, in order for me to blend in with this quicksand they call society, in order for me to be accepted...in order to become treated normal, in order for me to be treated fairly....I am willing to lose my colorful self, in exchange for recognition from people who know nothing about me.....and I feel sick just thinking about it.
