And so 2012 has gone by, it’s time to look back at what we’ve done so far. 2012 has been a fair year for me. I was hoping that since I was born in the year of the Dragon, that the past year could have been nicer to me, but then I’m no Chinese who believes in Feng Shui nor do I rely much on luck….

I would like to thank everyone for the companionship and inspirations. To all my watchers and friends, may this year we all stay together and have more fun with each other’s artworks to share.

Last year, I felt really bad about my work. Journals after journals, tell my bad experiences in my office, and it has taken its toll on me. But with negativity, there’s still some light. I focused on improving in the Background department, and could be one reason I didn’t manage to produce that many artworks last year. In the process of creating backgrounds; each taking time to finish- I’ve learned that there’s so much art has to offer for me, and will keep me busy for a while. So without further ado, here’s a summary of 2012.

January Fragrance of Venus
-My first artwork of the year inspired by a simple encounter with a random girl. I tried monochrome on this one.

February Visiting Red Hood
-Deviantart has been very kind to me, for giving this artwork a Daily Deviation. I was surprised, as to the positive response it received from so many fellow artists. I’d like to thank everyone who liked the artwork, and to and for the change they've given me.

March Medusa
-Medusa!!!! This is the only artwork of mine with two versions as of now. She is a character from my comics Her Blood.

April Dream about the Daughter of the Forgotten
-Oh yeah, from here, my campaign to improve in BG became serious. I really wanna be good at BG. Trivia, this artwork was meant to be the Festival which explains the similarity of the straight street view.

May Tropical Paradise
-Summer!!! Why not make a summer inspired work before it rains…..unfortunately, I myself didn’t manage to go to the beach….a series of “Other Side of Paradise” artworks from came after…

June Welcome to Atelier Hokage
-June….nothing much happened. I posted the first of three Mayumi artworks, here, as a signboard to welcome my guests…

July Before a Big Celebration
-Yeah, I was in the middle of finishing my Festival artwork, but didn’t made the deadline. Thus I posted what I had that time, the BG…(^_^)….

August Mirai Suenaga
-Lyrical Ayane won the AnimeNfo.com contest [link] ,but I chose to post Mirai despite losing her own contest because it’s the first time I used my Type D artstyle digitally.

September WIP Card
-Mayumi-chan!!! Now she’s moving thanks to .GIF..here, I learned how hard GIF is…the hard way

October Seperated by Difference
-I continue my quest to be good in Backgrounds. Here, I gave it my best in making an interesting scenery.

November White Lady
-I was in the middle of making my Christmas artwork, I forgot that there’s Halloween….a rushed artwork about a Philippine Folklore ghost.

December Sharing Christmas
-Christmas artwork…I was at my wits end doing a full painting here using a type C style which I’m not used to drawing…

Whew…last month wasn’t really that productive…I’m amazed I have a summary art without any holes in it….This year is the year of Moe according to my schedule….but I’ll still practice my BG’s. I hope you guys keep looking forward to my next artworks…*Notices that his summary art has so many girls in them…
